Level Lawns laid a new lawn for us several weeks ago, but I wanted to wait before posting a review to see how well it held up.
Unfortunately, just after the lawn was laid, my hose burst when they turned it on, meaning the grass didn’t get the best start. iI had to rush out to find a replacement, and thankfully managed to buy one before the shops closed and was able to give the lawn its first proper … More drink that evening.
Fast forward to four weeks later after religious watering and care, I’m pleased to say the lawn is thriving. It’s growing beautifully, and after a careful mow, it looks lovely and thick.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with both the results and the service provided by Level Lawns.
If I had one piece of constructive feedback, it would be to suggest that they bring their own hose to jobs. This would ensure the lawn gets at least one thorough watering before they leave and help prevent any last-minute scrambling if a customer’s hose unexpectedly bursts (like mine).
The photos show the lawn right after its first watering on the evening it was laid, alongside a couple taken this week.
Edit: Since posting this review and photos, a furry visitor managed to get into the garden and had a lovely time digging in the lawn. I’ve tried to patch up the divots, but I’ll be reaching out to Level Lawns for grass seed matching the turf they laid. Fingers crossed it will bounce back!

The lads that came to re turf my lawn were considerate, helpful efficient and knowledgeable. The turf is premium grade as was the top soil I requested. After care advice was easily understood and I was asked several times if I had any questions. I was also told if I had any queries after they’d left I could phone them up. My job now is to nurture the new grass.

We Had our lawn re-turfed in January after battling for many years trying to save our old lawn ourselves. They gave us some great drainage with lots of sand and I wanted to wait until some time had passed to review. We are very happy with the new lawn, it’s established really well and seems to be much more level than it was before too. The guys were brilliant, quick to visit and quote and then came back the following week to carry out the work. Couldn't believe how quickly they transformed our garden (which was a bombsite after our extension) they were friendly and approachable and provided instructions on how to best look after our new lawn.
